We’re scaling our team and are looking for a Digital Workplace Solution Specialist to support the strategic development and adoption of Microsoft 365 tools and applications for our clients.

Reporting to the Practice Lead, the successful candidate will be experienced in modern workplace and business process improvement. You’ll be responsible for working closely with clients to determine the best course of action for creating and transforming their digital workplaces using Microsoft 365 solution sets. You will be responsible for supporting projects from start to finish, including requirements gathering, problem scoping, solution design, recommendations, solution implementation, and end-user support and training.
What we need you to do:
In the course of your work, you will leverage a wide range of skills and experience to deliver in the following key areas:
- Solution Design and Implementation
- Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft 365 tools and technologies, such as SharePoint, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, and PowerBI
- Apply knowledge of SharePoint customization and branding techniques to improve employee experience
- Design and implement collaboration and project management solutions using Teams and Planner to improve teamwork and productivity
- Develop custom workflows and business process automation solutions in Power Automate and Azure Logic Apps to streamline operations
- Utilize content management and migration best practices to ensure seamless migration to SharePoint and OneDrive
- Develop information architecture and content strategies for digital workplace solutions
- Follow deployment and testing best practices to deliver quality solutions.
- Assessment and Advisement
- Facilitate user interviews and workshops to gather requirements to understand client needs and goals
- Develop recommendations and road maps for clients based on analysis of their digital workplace needs
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement in digital workplace solutions and make recommendations
- Advise on security and compliance tools within the M365 platform
- Develop and implement change management and adoption strategies
- Assist clients in using data analytics and business intelligence tools to gather insights and make data driven decisions
- Assess business readiness for Co-Pilot and AI solutions and make recommendations
- Support and Training
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 tools and technologies
- Apply knowledge of IT Service management and incident management process to provide timely support to clients
- Deliver training to end-users on Microsoft tools and technologies
- Assist in sales and business development from a technical perspective, through demos, presentations, and workshops
- Keep abreast of relevant industry certifications and accreditations.
What do you bring to Punchcard?
- Knowledge of digital workplace trends and best practices
- An excellent understanding of the function and makeup of Microsoft’s Modern Workplace, including SharePoint, Teams, and the Microsoft Power Platform stack of applications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required
- A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working as a subject matter expert in the Microsoft Technology stack
- Microsoft Certifications will be beneficial e.g. Microsoft 365 Certified: Teamwork Administrator Associate
- Experience in Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or similar products is an asset.
- Experience using migration tools as well as custom scripts to migrate and populate content into SharePoint
- Experience with SharePoint migration and governance platforms, like AvePoint or Orchestry, is a plus
- Familiarity with security and compliance best practices using Microsoft applications like SharePoint and Purview considered as asset.
- Knowledge of user experience best practices
- Understanding of business analysis and process improvement methodologies
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills with attention to detail and a commitment to follow-through
- Experience with presentation and public speaking
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with a wide range of clients, both internal and external, from technical to non-technical, including presentation skills and technical documentation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational skills with a proven ability to successfully manage multiple responsibilities
