We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team. This role is critical in driving outbound sales efforts, identifying potential clients, and generating new business opportunities for Punchcard. As a BDR, you will be responsible for engaging prospects, qualifying leads, and helping build a robust sales pipeline for our services. Expectations of this Role
In your role, you will have responsibility in:
Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting:
- Conduct outbound prospecting via calls, emails, and social outreach to generate new business.
- Qualify inbound leads and distribute them accordingly.
- Set up qualified introductory discovery meetings within the ICP.
- Understand customer pain points and articulate Punchcard’s value proposition.
- Achieve targets of sales accepted opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions in our CRM system (HubSpot).
- Work closely with the Marketing to execute targeted outreach campaigns.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging and improve lead generation efforts.
Market Awareness & Strategy:
- Stay informed about industry trends, market developments.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to improve messaging and outreach strategies.
- Assist in content development for outbound sales efforts, including email templates and call scripts.
What you will bring to Punchcard
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, telemarketing, phone prospecting, or business development in a high-tech or IT services industry.
- Ability to build rapport on the phone and in virtual meetings.
- Experience in high-volume outbound sales prospecting.
- Experience with tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.
- Familiarity with PCs and the Microsoft 365 Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to collaborate in a competitive environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while being a productive team member, making outbound calls daily.
- Any previous sales training is a plus.
